Web-integrated e-mail

There are an estimated 145 million business e-mail users in North America alone, and that number is expected to rise to 209 million by 2005. The average business user sends 34 e-mails per day, totaling 4.9 billion daily - and that number is expected to increase to 50 per day. And the majority of these e-mails generally look alike, and don't do anything to further a firm's identity - a wasted branding opportunity.

Another interesting statistic: approximately 85% of all business e-mail systems are now HTML compatible - and high-speed access among these users is becoming standard.  In fact, HTML is the default e-mail selection in Outlook XP.

One of the benefits of web-Integrated e-mail is the use of graphics to further a company's visual identity. Text e-mail of today can be replaced by "virtual letterhead," with graphic elements that link to the firm's web site. Additional features can include links to office information, attorney bios, newsletters, and announcements. Additional E-mail templates can also be designed for internal marketing and communications purposes.
