Appointing a Webmaster
Usually one individual, often referred to as the webmaster, or, perhaps, a committee will have the responsibility for web site design, maintenance, content, writing assignments, editing submissions and responding to e-mail sent by visitors to the site. Editorial considerations should include review of relevant rules of professional ethics to assure web site compliance.
InsideServices can take on behalf of its client a number of these daily tasks on itself, but is also acknowledges that the final editorial say-so lays with the client. In order to have an efficient flow of information with the client, it is important that the firm appoints a contact person who can distribute questions to the appropriate parties within the firm and who can collect information, review materials, arrange approvals, etc.
