Site identification
The site identification is the name of your company and it should be placed where people look first - the top left corner. This is where people start reading a book and start viewing a web site. Placed close to the corporate logo, should be the navigation bar, the second most important thing. However the navigation bar should not compete with the No. 1 spot.
